In this world of exceptions
Knotted lies and assertions
Grown beyond skill sets
Of finely honed surgeons
I work with kids
Torn apart by confusions
Slapped on medication
Thrown below ground
Without hesitation
Feel

Drain
From
My

Who’s trained to help
Make a change to this system?
Is something missing from our education?

I so relate to this as taught inner-city for ten years and I grew weary but I could go home at night while they still lived that reality. Appreciate also your observation of increasing number of children/adolescents drugged while being lectured about just saying ‘No.’ Great poem.

You might like this.. I keep posting it, but when I first saw it a few years ago, it was like a weight off my shoulders that someone could actually explain a little of what was going on..
Some other great RSA animate vids on youtube and check out http://www.ted.com for some great inspirational stuff if that’s what floats your boat at times..
